Nintendo direct 2023: Where to Watch the Nintendo Direct and What to Expect at the Nintendo Direct June 2023

How to Watch and What to Expect from the June 2023 Nintendo Direct

What more does Nintendo have in store? We know Pikmin 4 will appear in about 40 minutes.

The past few weeks have been jam-packed with thrilling summer gaming showcases, and now Nintendo has thrown its Mario-shaped hat into the ring by announcing a new Nintendo Direct will be released on June 21. This Nintendo Direct will last about 40 minutes and be "focused mainly on Nintendo Switch titles launching this year, including new details on Pikmin 4."

Everything you need to know about the forthcoming Nintendo Direct will be covered in this guide, including when it starts, how to watch it, and what to look forward to.

Nintendo's June 2023 Direct starting at

The Nintendo Direct for June 2023 will begin on June 21 at 7 a.m. Pacific Time/10 a.m. Eastern Time/3 p.m. British Summer Time. That is June 22 at 12 a.m. AEST if you are an Australian.

Where to Watch the June 2023 Nintendo Direct

If you want to see the most recent Nintendo Direct, Nintendo will stream it on its website, YouTube, and Twitch.

Despite the fact that we won't be hosting the broadcast on IGN, our Nintendo Voice Chat team will be presenting a pre-show before the direct, which starts at 6:40am PT/9:40am ET/2:40pm BST, a live watch party during the Direct, and a discussion of the Nintendo Direct after the stream.

What to Expect at the June 2023 Nintendo Direct

Nintendo confirmed the Nintendo Direct will have "approximately 40 minutes of information focused primarily on Nintendo Switch titles launching this year, including new details on Pikmin 4," however it is unclear what surprises the company has in store for us tomorrow.

Expect a fresh look at gameplay from the first mainline Pikmin game since 2013's Pikmin 3 when Pikmin 4 launches on July 21, 2023.

The long-awaited re-releases of The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker and/or Twilight Princess may finally be revealed at the Nintendo Direct, especially now that The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom has been out in the open for more than a month. Tears of the Kingdom's downloadable content may also be ready, although it may be premature given how many players are still playing the expansive game we dubbed a masterpiece.

On Nintendo's video game stage, Link and Zelda have also spent a lot of time in the limelight; it could be time for them to step aside to make room for Mario's comeback. This Nintendo Direct would be a fantastic welcome back party for the finest plumber in the business, especially given the overwhelming popularity of The Super Mario Bros. Movie and the fact that there hasn't been a mainline Mario game since 2017's Super Mario Odyssey.

Is there a chance that we'll be playing a new 2D or 3D Mario game over the Christmas season to recreate the 1-2 punch of Breath of the Wild and Super Mario Odyssey in 2017? We'll discover it in due time!

After the release of Metroid Prime Remastered earlier this year, the news of Metroid Prime 4 would be incredibly thrilling. It has also been absent in action for a while. Although it may be difficult to imagine, Metroid Prime 4 was initially revealed back in 2017.

Given that we only know a tiny bit about the Pokemon Scarlet and Violet expansions and that some people (like me!) are expecting for the release of earlier Pokemon games like Pokemon Red, Blue, and Yellow on Nintendo Switch Online, something Pokemon-related may also be on the horizon.

Additionally, Hollow Knight: Silksong and Mother 3 should be mentioned because they are frequently among the games that fans ask to be featured in Nintendo Directs.

Check out our Nintendo Direct recap from February, which included The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, Metroid Prime Remastered, Game Boy and Game Boy Advance games, and more, as you wait to see what the future brings.
